A $50 000 grant for the Embrun Station and Museum has been announced by The ‘Société historique d’Embrun’ (better known as the Embrun Station committee) from the Desjardins Ontario Credit Union Community Development Fund. The funding will enable continued rehabilitation and renovation of the station leading to the creation of the historical museum of Embrun and the activities connected to it. The Société will be able to restore and transform the original Embrun station into a museum celebrating the unique French heritage of the region.
The Township of Russell is holding an open house for the Transportation Master Plan Update on March 18.
The Bradley Cup Charity Hockey Tournament returns to the Navan Memorial Centre on March 21-22, celebrating the long rivalry of Navan, Cumberland, Vars, Sarsfield, Orléans, and Hammond as they compete for the title.
Also in Navan, the Original Navan Market dates have been set for this year, starting April 27 (dependent on weather, not confirmed), May 25, June 22, July 20, August 24, September 21,
October 19, and November 9.
